Maintaining the fruitful cooperation with the International Center for Parliamentary Studies, on April 10 in Brussels, Belgium, GazIntech specialists took part in the round-table discussion held under the aegis of the European Union under the title Technological Solutions to Improve Border Security in the capacity of experts in the matters of creation of border control systems and production of personal documents using biometric technologies.

The primary objective of the event was discussion of issues of ensuring border security. Other participants of the round-table discussion were such companies as IBM Global Business Services, Atos, Frontex, etc. Apart from representatives of technological companies, members of the European Parliament and representatives of human rights organizations also attended the event. GazIntech specialists actively participated in discussions of major topics of the evening, in particular, in debating modern solutions for improving border security, and shared their accumulated experience in this area.

The event was covered in the Government Gazette (the official edition of the British Administration), in the March issue of which analytical articles of the event’s participants were published. In future, GazIntech intends to continue its cooperation with the International Center for Parliamentary Studies.
