By Order No. 357-rp of the President of the Russian Federation dated June 04, 2011, GazIntech is called the sole contractor of state orders for the performance of works to support, service, and develop the departmental segment of the Russian Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot) as part of the State system of producing, processing and control of new generation passport-visa documents.

The departmental segment of Rosmorrechflot includes facilities equipped with software and hardware of Seafarers’ Identity Documents Processing, Issuance and Control System. The segment facilities operate all over Russia, from Kaliningrad to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

The Rosmorrechflot departmental segment issues Seafarers’ Identity Documents (SIDs) to the citizens of Russia and foreign states domiciled in Russia. SID is the first state document of the Russian Federation containing biometric parameters — fingerprints of its holder.
