On the 23rd of April 2008 in the President Hotel, Moscow, an annual massive event, a SAP forum for retail sale and distributing companies, took place. GazIntech appeared as a sponsor of this event.

A lot of vital issues for increasing efficiency of wholesale and retail sale companies were discussed there; some reports from key representatives of a distributing trade market that highlight a SAP implementation practice in large sale companies were performed.

Separately a report of Yury Makarov, a business manager of a Mettler Toledo company-representative in CIS, was pointed out. This report performed steps of the project that became a bright example of efficient implementation of a comparatively small approach on a SAP Business One platform. That project had been represented by GazIntech. Yury Makarov said that as a result GazIntech specialists could create a united system that allows getting on-the-fly coordinated data about all aspects of the company's activity. Yuri also marked that having analyzed its work in a new system in 2007; the company was surprised with an unsuspected increased gross profit up to 15%.

Nowadays this project is the largest according to the SAP Business One implementation index in Russia and one of the biggest in the world — it's 160 users on the territory of Russia and countries of CIS (Ukraine and Kazakhstan). GazIntech was marked with the Bargain of the Year 2006 Award at the SAP partners' forum in 2007.
