GazIntech has completed the first stage of the SAP Business One implementation project to automate the activities of foreign trading subsidiaries of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK).

TMK is the world’s largest manufacturer of steel pipes and one of the top three global leaders in the pipe industry. The TMK’s sales geography covers more than 80 countries. Two subsidiaries of the distribution network will be simultaneously automated: TMK Global (Geneva, Switzerland) and TMK ME (Dubai, UAE).

According to the tender results, GazIntech, a leading supplier and developer in Russia and the CIS countries of SAP Business One platform-based industry solutions, becomes the general implementation contractor.

Based on SAP Business One, key business processes of trading subsidiaries will be automated. SAP Business One is planned to be integrated with SAP ERP and SAP CRM currently operating within the TMK Russian facilities, as well as with the plants’ MES systems.

As a result, the implemented ERP system will not only incorporate wide functionality with full local support but will also become a convenient and powerful tool for TMK Group’s consolidated accounting.
