New technical solutions to be introduced within the context of a new style passport- and-visa document development program (hereinafter the System) have been presented in Moscow on December 21, 2011.
Russian Federation President Administration Assistant Director Maksut Shadaev, Deputy Minister of Telecom and Mass Communication Oleg Dukhovnitskiy, Director of RF Ministry of Home Affairs IT, Telecom and data protection Department Mikhail Tyurkin, as well as representative from Federal Migration Service, Russian Ministry of International Affairs, RF Ministry of Defense and RF Federal Security Service.
Technical power of the System which allows to work with passport and visa documents containing human biometrical parameters in compliance with international standards was demonstrated on specially equipped stands. A checkpoint layout through the state border designed by GazIntech specialists was also displayed along with other decisions.
Implementation of all planned events to create the System will both strengthen the system of national security and will play a significant role in moving to a non-visa regime between RF and the European Union.
